Forgery #14 - Sarah Verrier 1737 Sampler Kit

A darling early French-Canadian sampler depicting the Lord’s Prayer in French.  Adorned with a flower band and a maiden amid a row of trees. Sarah began her sampler with an alphabet band and ended by practicing her numbers up to 70. Her name and date complete the sampler.

Finished size:  10 3/8" x 14 7/8"  
Fabric: 40 count Natural Linen  

Stitches Used: Cross Stitch, Marking Cross, Satin Stitch, Half Cross, Algerian Eye Stitch and Double Running.
