Forgery #17 - Rachel Hallowell Sampler Kit

An interesting alphabet sampler with ornate lettering. Typically, both Dutch and Scottish samplers contain fancy lettering, however the lettering on this sampler is quite unique. Rachel worked all the letters of the alphabet with the exception of the letters X and Z. I wonder why she placed them in such a random order? 

Finished size:  7 1/4" x 12 1/2"  
Fabric: 32 count Lambswool Linen  

Stitches Used: Cross Stitch, Cross over one, Four Sided.
